Australasian Critical Communications Forum

The Australasian Critical Communications Forum (ACCF), a not-for-profit membership organisation is the regional chapter of The Critical Communications Association (TCCA).

The ACCF, registered in Australia, represents industry and users from around the Australasian/Oceania region bringing together all those with an interest in advancing the quality of standardised critical LMR and broadband communications and benefits from TCCA’s representation in key industry and government organisations and its involvement in critical industry initiatives around the globe.

Our Members design, manufacture, build, implement, utilise, analyse, promote, develop and deploy standardised critical communications solutions.

Benefits

The ACCF benefits from TCCA’s International Partnerships and Collaborations with standardisation bodies  ETSI, 3GPP, NIST and others including the Global Certification Forum (GCF) in the development of critical digital LMR and Broadband LTE/5G/6G technologies and beyond.

Our Focus

ACCF advocates and promotes TCCA principles of open and competitive markets through the use of global multivendor standards and harmonised spectrum and brings together stakeholders in the critical communications sector; governments, public safety, emergency services, regulators, manufacturers, integrators, operators, and end-users; to discuss, debate, deliver and evolve the market for the benefit of all. Standards provide assurance that solutions from different vendors will work together providing interoperability.

  • Directly add your voice to the development of global frameworks that includes all standardised mobile critical communications technologies that include ETSI, 3GPP, NIST and more.

Global Participation and Contribution

Our network of TCCA/ACCF members in our region and globally review, align and create commentary and white papers to ensure that the needs of regional (ACCF) and global users are accounted for in current and future technology roadmaps that depend on ETSI, 3GPP and NIST aligned open standard technologies.

ACCF members are invited to contribute by participating or contributing to a wide range of TCCA Working Groups, a full list of these can be found here. 

ACCF supports TCCA, a 3GPP Market Representation Partner and a key technical supporter of the ETSI MCX Plugteststo ensure interoperability between vendors.

 Training – Critical Communications Institute

The Critical Communications Institute, a partnership between TCCA and Wray Castle (www.wraycastle.com/cci) features a suite of specialist training solutions to help you understand, design, build and optimise the critical communications networks of today and tomorrow. ACCF/TCCA members are entitled to a 10% discount.
