Ventamonjaks, the largest terminal on theBaltic Sea engaged in storage and transhipment of liquid ammonia and other liquid chemicals and petrochemicals, has selected Artevea TETRA over IP (ToIP) infrastructure to enhance its communication network. The contract marks Artevea’s first TETRA over IP (ToIP) deployment in a port environment.
The ToIP infrastructure forms Ventamonjaks’ new radio communication network, and includes multi-vendor TETRA terminals operating across Artevea’s infrastructure, namely Selex Puma T3 series (Intrinsically Safe) and Sepura SRM3500 series handheld terminals, in line with Ventamonjak’s operational requirements.
Choosing Artevea’s technology for TETRA Network implementation was the result of lengthy negotiation conducted by Ventamonjaks.
