Teltronic reaffirms its dominant position in the Spanish Public Transportation
September 2007: In cooperation with Spanish leaders for Public Transportation COBRA and ETRA companies, Teltronic has supplied 6 Base Stations, 14 cell enhancers for indoor tunnel coverage, 50 special terminals for light trains and 50 HTT-500 with GPS for the Light Train T2-T3 Lines of Madrid.
Additionally Teltronic has been chosen for the Government of Valencia Railways (FGV) to supply a TETRA System that comprises the Mercado-Altea stretch of the Alicante-Denia line. The system comprises 7 Base Stations; Cell Enhancers and special radiating system for tunnel coverage, a combined fiber optic and microwave links as backbone network, 80 handportables, 2 fixed dispatchers and 20 special ruggedised terminals for trains specially designed according to the highest railways standards.
Teltronic adds a new contract in the Transport segment market to supply both the TETRA system and the terminals for the Light Train of Parla, Madrid. The system will cover 12 kilometres and will facilitate the internal mobility of citizens inside the city and will link all the quarters with the suburban train. The project consists on a full-redundant TETRA mono-site with recording system. A cell enhancer will give coverage to the maintenance workshop. 3 substations along the rail will get coverage thanks to Teltronic TMO enhancers. The advanced and pioneer N2A (NEBULA IP Interface Access) will be used to connect to Subway Fleet Management System (SAE).
Teltronic in cooperation with the Spanish S.I. leader SAMPOL TELECOM has provided a TETRA System for the new subway line of Mallorca, in Baleares Islands. The system includes: 2 SCN, 7 SBS with 2 carriers each, and 6 special terminals for trains. Also has a Network Management System and a Control Centre for subway command of communications. The railway area has 4589 meters underground and 3837 meters in surface, and 9 rail stations. The 7 SBS gives coverage to all this internal and external area.
