TELTRONIC CONTINUES ITS ACTIVITY IN AUSTRALASIA BY A MINING COMPANY RIO TINTO CONTRACT

Teltronic’s activities in Australasia continue. The mining company Rio Tinto, with headquarters in Brisbane, Australia, has selected the handportable HTT-500 for its operations. This company is one of the world’s leading mining and exploration companies. Its main objective is to maximise profit to investors by operating responsibly and sustainable in finding, mining and processing minerals. This company pays special attention to safety and social and environmental responsibility.
Rio Tinto, which has approved Teltronic for the introduction of infrastructures, will enjoy the technology of the Spanish company with its HTT-500 terminal. It is a modern and powerful tool with the newest technological advances like the 3W RF output power adjustable from 15mW to 3W, the 1W output audio power, its “Man Down” feature, the internal GPS option and the internal E2EE Encryption option, to name a few.
This is Teltronic’s first TETRA contract in the mining sector, and represents a new step in the global coverage of the company.
