Britain’s rising tech stars honoured.
Britain’s 100 fastest-growing private technology companies celebrated at the sixth annual Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 awards event, held in London on Tuesday 28 November.
The audience comprised successful entrepreneurs from companies on the latest Tech Track 100 league table, which ranks Britain’s fastest-growing private technology companies based on sales growth over the last two years.
The awards evening started with a compelling talk by David Richards, ex World Rally Champion and founder, chairman and chief executive of motorsports company Prodrive. After dinner, guests heard an informative and entertaining speech by Jon Moulton, founder and managing partner of the private equity group Alchemy Partners, a turnaround specialist and tech investor.
The Tech Track 100 international expansion award, sponsored by ARM and presented by director Graham Budd, was awarded to Graham Matthews, managing director of Sepura. Based in Cambridge, this radio technology developer supplies more than 500 clients, including the emergency services and the military, in 77 countries across six continents. The company’s international sales have doubled each year for the past three years.
