Sepura Wins Best Technology Award

Sepura has won the PLC Award 2007 for Best Technology, which was presented to Graham Matthews, CEO of Sepura, at yesterday’s awards dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Fifteen hundred business people attended the event, including company directors, investment bankers, fund managers, investment analysts, and corporate advisors.

The Best Technology award was one of seven awards presented to recognise the achievements of companies on the London Stock Market.

The award ismade to “a company whose business growth and success is dependent on, or attributable to, the development of one or more technologies or on the development of technology-led products or services which require, or have demonstrated significant innovation, either in terms of the technology itself or its application.”

Graham Matthews said, “This is a prestigious award. It is further recognition of the company’s progress. Sepura continues to grow worldwide sales of TETRA radios by listening closely to what our customers want, and quickly developing products and features and the underpinning TETRA technology. The result is that we are now the world’s second largest supplier of TETRA radio terminals.”
