Sepura announces partnership with Selectric in Germany
Sepura announces today the signing of a partnership agreement with prominent German systems integrator, Selectric Nachrichten-Systeme GmbH. Based in Munster, the family-owned German organisation is one of the largest mobile communications distributors in Germany.
Selectric brings to the partnership over 30 years of experience in the implementation of infrastructures, marketing of end-user mobile handsets and the provision of extensive repair and maintenance services throughout Germany. In addition, it boasts a successful country-wide sales organisation that will distribute and promote Sepura’s comprehensive portfolio of TETRA radios.
During 2006 the Procurement Office of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior will disclose the results of the tender for the nationwide digital voice and data transmission network for the German security authorities and organisations, the “BOS” government agencies. Selectric’s experience of working with “BOS” agencies will enable the partnership to meet the new digital radio requirements of the German public safety sector.
Hendrik Pieper, Sales Director for Selectric commented: “The high flexibility achieved in meeting end-user requirements in the field of digital radio communications is the proof of our successful marketing strategy. We are very pleased to have joined forces with Sepura and are confident that our partnership will be greatly beneficial to the commercial and public safety digital radio communications markets in Germany.
