Selex ES is at the heart of the evolution of future cities
Selex ES, a Finmeccanica company, will be participating in the Smart City Exhibition in Bologna, Italy from the 16th to the 18th of October 2013. The event is organised by FORUM PA and Bologna Fiere and is at the heart of Italy’s aim to create smart cities; an opportunity which Selex ES is ready to meet.
European funding and new Italian projects for smart cities and smart communities have created opportunities for stakeholders to build intelligent, innovative and sustainable projects that can provide real benefits for citizens. As the concept of the “city” changes, modern ideas about communication networks and the flow of digital and physical information are increasingly able to create a better quality of life for residents.
Selex ES, thanks to its experience in designing technological platforms and services in areas such as mobility, energy consumption, security and services for the citizen, both at a local and national level, is primed to be a partner for such modern cities as they evolve.

- Selex ES will participate to a session on the 16 of October (from 15,30 to 18,00 pl.02) on the “Urban Agenda and Smart Cities”.
- In Selex ES’s conference room, the company will be hosting a number of workshops including “The Governance of a Smart City” and “An Energy Management Oriented approach for the management of Public Real Estate”.
Selex ES, as Official Global Partner of Expo Milano 2015, providing the “Safe City & Main Operation Center” will participate in the events and workshops promoted by Expo 2015.
