26 May 2008 – Savox, a leading provider of advanced communications solutions for professional mobile radios and personal protection equipment, together with EADS Defence & Security announced the introduction of a robust and user-friendly audio accessory for its THR880i at the TETRA World Congress.

The RSM-65 Bluetooth speaker-microphone has been specifically developed for the THR880i by Savox, a long-term accessory partner of EADS Secure Networks, an integrated activity of EADS Defence & Security (DS).

The modern and robust speaker-microphone can connect wirelessly to the radio thus enabling reliable communication and flexible operation in the field. This accessory has IP55 protection against dust and splash water and its own battery provides with a use time of minimum 10 hours.
Demonstration samples are available both at EADS and Savox booth at the TETRA World Congress in Hong Kong. Deliveries start at the end of Q3/2008.
