Rohill delivers TETRA system for DCT Gdansk
Rohill and local partner IP Connect have delivered a TETRA system for DCT Gdansk in Poland. DCT Gdansk is the largest Polish container terminal and the only deep-water terminal in the Baltic region.
In September last year, DCT Gdansk announced a tender for the supply of a TETRA communications system. During the tender process, the most advantageous proposal, based on Rohill TetraNode, was submitted by Rohill partner IP Connect. As a result, IP Connect was selected by DCT Gdansk to deliver the communication system for this project.
Additionally, DCT ordered the software for the system administrator position – NodeView and the unique dispatcher application – LDS Chameleon.
The supplied system is compliant with the ETSI technical specifications (EN 300 392, EN300 395, with extensions) and ensures communication between TETRA terminals from different manufacturers, in particular with radio equipment currently used within DCT Gdansk.
The system architecture is based on two central nodes and was delivered in time.
