Real Madrid football club extends their contract with Teltronic

June 2007: Real Madrid football club extends their contract with Teltronic and will improve the security of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium with better and more powerful systems.

The Spain-based company and Real Madrid football club, who have been cooperating since 2002, have signed a new 4-year contract by which their stadium will have one of the most modern security systems in the world.

Teltronic and Real Madrid have renewed the agreement they signed in 2002 for four more years. The radio communications system company supplied the infrastructure and security equipment for the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Teltronic installed a base station in the stadium, with two repeaters that allows the simultaneous register of up to eight communication channels, and whose conversations can be encrypted. Additionally, the Real Madrid football club purchased 30 Sepura portable terminals, as well as a series of office radio equipment that can be used as an operations base.

Real Madrid football club continues with its confidence in Teltronic, and under this new agreement Teltronic will upgrade the stadium network with greater functionality, and will provide additional redundancy items to improve the availability of the network to 100%. In addition, Teltronic will supply the most advanced Teltronic HTT-500, whose greater RF power guarantees a perfect reception throughout the stadium, as well as the encrypting of the communications if this is required.

In this way, the Santiago Bernabeu stadium will continue being one the best prepared football stadiums to house sports events thanks to its characteristics and extraordinary security and prevention resources available.
