- Motorola Solutions’ award-winning ATEX MTP850Ex portable TETRA radio delivers enhanced safety as the radio holds IP65 certification (Ingress Protection Code) for the high level of protection it provides in environments containing dust or pressurised water, such as water jets and heavy seas. This internationally-recognised standard, awarded by TUV Singapore, is an industry first for a TETRA ATEX radio that also offers high protection against explosive gas and dust.
- The award-winning radio terminal MTP850Ex has been engineered specifically for tough conditions and combines an uncompromising mix of safety features, smart ergonomics and robust design. It meets criteria for the toughest industry environments, for example oil rigs, petrochemical plants and offshore wind farms and is also designed for use in hazardous environments by public safety fire users.
- The award-winning environmentally friendly and unique Fuel Cell power back-up solutions, developed by Motorola and Dantherm Power, is deployed in Denmark for the nationwide public safety system which is itself one of the largest of its type in any telecommunications network in the world. Since its deployment in 2009 the Danish TETRA system with its environmentally friendly back up fuel cell solution has met the demanding requirements of availability and ease of maintenance, while guaranteeing low CO2emissions.
- TETRA technology is an ETSI standard developed with and for public organizations. Motorola Solutions is a leading TETRA solutions supplier with a TETRA portfolio comprising infrastructure solutions, terminals, applications and services, which are currently delivered and in use in more than 100 countries around the world.
