Hytera Mobilfunk wins ICCA Award

London/ Bad Münder, 29 February 2016 –

Hytera Mobilfunk wins ICCA Award in the Category Outstanding Single-site TETRA Installation. 

On Friday, 26th of February the ICCA Awards (formerly known as TETRA Awards) were awarded in festive atmosphere at London´s “Honourable Artillery Company (HAC)”. Hytera Mobilfunk was successful against the competition in the Outstanding Single-site TETRA Installation category.

Hytera Mobilfunk was nominated for equipping the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Lima in October 2015.

Back then Lima became the financial capital of the world for seven days, bringing together 16 thousand participants from 188 countries, including the highest economic, financial and political world leaders. Additional security measures were needed to ensure the safety of more than 16,000 delegates and 3,000 international journalists. Hytera Mobilfunk provided secure and robust voice and data communications for this Annual Meeting.

The International Critical Communications Awards, formerly known as TETRA Awards, are organized by the trade magazines TETRA Today and Land Mobile. The awards are intended to reward special projects, applications and solutions in the field of digital radio technology for mission-critical communications.
