Frequentis Singapore celebrates 20 years of success as it opens a new office to reinforce growth plan for Asia – the new office will act as a hub for Frequentis Asia, reflecting the company goal to become world leader in control centre solutions.
Located in the heart of Singapore’s technology hub, One-North, the new office represents a substantial investment in the region and reflects Frequentis’ dedication to serving its clients and partners throughout Asia.
Frequentis Singapore has witnessed substantial growth and evolution over the last 20 years with the team primarily focussing on serving the Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Defence sectors, as well as Maritime and Public Safety segments emerging as promising areas for future growth. Frequentis Singapore acts as the Asia hub for the company, with key customers here including the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), and the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA).
The collaboration with local system integrators, business partners, and academic institutions plays a crucial role in driving growth in Singapore and making an impact across Southeast Asia. A highlight of the new Singapore office is the ACC Asian Competence Centre, Experience Lab, which showcases the operational capabilities of Frequentis’ safety-critical solutions including various simulators for air traffic management, and the Frequentis multimedia control room solution LifeX for emergency services. In the near future, maritime, drone management, and ATM traffic optimisation demos will also be added, showcasing the company’s commitment to innovation and growth.
Collaborations such as the expansion of Changi Airport and modernisation of ATM systems are indicative of the future direction of Frequentis in Singapore and the broader Asian region. These projects not only underpin the company’s commitment to the region but also its dedication to shaping the future of safety-critical communication and information solutions.
“Frequentis is excited to take this significant step in establishing a stronger foothold in Singapore and throughout Asia. Our new office in Singapore demonstrates our commitment to serving our customers and partners here, and we look forward to enhancing our relationships with local and regional stakeholders and making a lasting impact within the safety-critical communications industry,” says Norbert Haslacher, CEO, Frequentis AG.
