First choice for Russia’s roadside service

LAT, Russia’s roadside assistance for motorists, has chosen Sepura TETRA radios for its communications in the St Petersburg region.

All the company’s fleet in and around the city is equipped with the radios, which are used by mechanics, technical support and fleet logistic operators. Radio communication co-ordinates operations and raises the quality of service.

This is the fourth contract Sepura has won in the country’s second city, and further emphasises Sepura’s status as the market leader in supplying TETRA radios in Russia.

After field trials of various manufacturers,Sepura hand-held radios were chosen as they met the specific needs of the roadside service.

LAT provides motorists with a full range of services, including emergency roadside repairs and recovery, examination and repair of car accident damage, independent estimates and garage listings.

Kenneth Hubner, Regional Director for Sepura, said: “This is an encouraging sales win for us in a completely new market sector, illustrating the growing appeal and performance of Sepura’s broad range of products.”
