Mission Critical Services (MCX) ETSI Plugtests™: Results and Future Plans Webinar
May 14, 2020 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm BST

Thursday 14 May 2020 – 16:15 – 17:15 (CEST)
The concepts of Mission Critical Push To Talk (MCPTT), Mission Critical Data (MCData) and Mission Critical Video (MCVideo), collectively known as Mission Critical Services (MCX), were specified in 3GPP Releases 13, 14 and 15.
Interoperability and service harmonization are critical challenges for the successful deployment and operation of mission critical communications.
The goal of the ETSI MCX Plugtests™ is to validate the interoperability of a variety of implementations using different scenarios, with tests based on 3GPP, ETSI and IETF standards
This webinar focuses on:
- The results of the ETSI MCX #4 Plugtests event, held in Finland in September 2019
- An overview of ETSI’s MCX permanent remote interoperability lab
- The ETSI MCX #5 Plugtests scope and date
- The extension of the MCX Plugtests event to test initial railway-oriented capabilities in 3GPP Release-15, moving towards FRMCS (Future Railway Mobile Communication System)
