Dimetra User Forum appoints Airwave International Development Director as Chairman
UK, 23rd May 2008 – The Dimetra User Forum (DUF), made up of organisations deploying Motorola’s Trunked TETRA System, today announced that David Wilson, international development director at Airwave, has been appointed its global chairman following a ballot of members.
David brings over 20 years of experience in the mobile radio industry to his role of chairman of the DUF, as well as an intricate understanding of TETRA through his work with Airwave. In an earlier role David worked closely with PITO (now the NPIA) and police forces during the successful rollout of the Airwave service and later on the substantial resilience enhancement of the network.
Motorola’s Dimetra Solutions are TETRA compliant wireless solutions for professional organisations. The DUF provides an open forum for Dimetra users to network and discuss its solutions. The next meeting is scheduled to take place in September inOslo,Norway.
