CCW – Motorola Solutions announces client wins

Following on from the announcement of the MTS4L launch and Motorola Solutions’ introduction of its ‘safer cities’ solutions, the company has announced two further customer wins during Critical Communications World 2013. Motorola Solutions Wins TETRA Terminals Tender For The Fire Agency in Norway
Motorola Solutions has been selected as a supplier to deliver Terrestrial Trunked Radios (TETRA) digital radio terminals to the Fire Agencies in Norway.  The agreement includes the delivery of five radio models, in total approx. 2,000 units for the Norwegian Fire Service.

The Norwegian Directorate for Emergency Communication (DNK) and users have chosen the new MTP3000 series (MTP3200 and MTP3250), MTP850S and MTP850 Ex TETRA handheld digital radios as well as the MTM5400 vehicle mobile radios. With this decision Norway Fire users are joining 2 million users around the world who trust TETRA digital radios from Motorola in mission critical situations.

The new MTP3000 radios offer 14 per cent better range than existing TETRA radios, providing clear communications in even the most hazardous environments.

Danish Health Authority First to Use Motorola Solutions Image Management System for TETRA Digital Radios; will enhance daily operations
Motorola Solutions Inc. today announces the first contract win of its TETRA image management solution for the Danish Authority in Zealand. Paramedics and doctors will be equipped with TETRA radios including the MTP6750 which will allow them to collect evidence at a crime or emergency scene and manage, authenticate and share it. This will allow evidence collected at crime scenes to be deemed reliable in court.
